  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Gochujang - 2 tablespoons

  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1
  • Cucumber (sliced) - 1/2
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 75°C.
  5. While the chicken is cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom bun, then layer with lettuce, the grilled chicken, tomato slices, cucumber slices, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
