Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Carrot (julienned) - 1 medium
  • Bell pepper (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Zucchini (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 stalks
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 50 ml

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for about 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the cubed tofu to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Add the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and zucchini to the pan, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, and water. Pour this mixture over the tofu and vegetables, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
