Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Carrot (julienned) - 1 medium
- Bell pepper (sliced) - 1 medium
- Zucchini (sliced) - 1 medium
- Green onions (chopped) - 2 stalks
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 50 ml
Steps
- Press the tofu for about 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the cubed tofu to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown on all sides.
- Add the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and zucchini to the pan, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, and water. Pour this mixture over the tofu and vegetables, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
- Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
