Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Gochugaru - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Scallions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1 cm thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, mix gochugaru, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Coat the tofu slices in the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the marinated tofu slices to the skillet and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and sprinkle with chopped scallions before serving.
