Ingredients

  • Mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts) - 200 grams
  • Gochugaru (Korean chili powder) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the gochugaru, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic powder, and salt to make a marinade.
  3. Add the mixed nuts to the marinade and toss well until all the nuts are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Sprinkle the black sesame seeds over the nuts.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even roasting.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
