  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (minced) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions (sliced) - 2
  • Brown rice - 150 grams (uncooked)
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cook the brown rice according to package instructions, typically about 20 minutes.
  2. While the rice is cooking, cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the gochugaru, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create the marinade.
  4. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, mixing well to coat all the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
