Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams, cut into florets
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, gochugaru, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, minced garlic, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the marinade.
  4. Spread the marinated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly charred, tossing halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
