- Korean green chili peppers (gochu) - 200 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Green onion - 1, finely chopped
- Water - 50 milliliters
Steps
- Rinse the Korean green chili peppers under cold water, then slice them into thin strips.
- In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced chili peppers to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.
- Add the soy sauce, water, and a pinch of salt to the pan, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onion over the top. Toss to combine and serve warm or at room temperature.
