  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 30 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk (or dairy-free alternative) - 120 ml

  • Red bean paste (sweetened) - 100 grams
  • Water (for steaming) - 500 ml

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add milk and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes elastic.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. After resting, divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
  6. Flatten each piece into a small circle and place about 25 grams of red bean paste in the center.
  7. Carefully gather the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch to seal.
