Ingredients

  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Water - 200 milliliters
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped, for garnish

Steps

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a medium pot, combine the potatoes, edamame, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Cover the pot and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir occasionally, ensuring the potatoes are well coated in the sauce.
  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes.
