- Potato - 400 grams
- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Cornstarch - 30 grams
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Steps
- Peel the potatoes and grate them using a box grater or food processor.
- Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, chopped green onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and water. Mix until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add enough vegetable oil to coat the bottom.
- Spoon a portion of the potato mixture into the skillet, flattening it slightly with a spatula to form a pancake.
- Fry each side for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Add more oil if needed.
- Remove the pancakes from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with soy sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.
