Ingredients

  • Potato - 400 grams
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Cornstarch - 30 grams
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Peel the potatoes and grate them using a box grater or food processor.
  2. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, chopped green onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and water. Mix until well combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add enough vegetable oil to coat the bottom.
  5. Spoon a portion of the potato mixture into the skillet, flattening it slightly with a spatula to form a pancake.
  6. Fry each side for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Add more oil if needed.
  7. Remove the pancakes from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve warm with soy sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.
