Ingredients

  • Fish cakes - 200 grams

  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. In a pot, heat the vegetable broth over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced zucchini and mushrooms to the pot, and let them simmer for about 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Add the fish cakes and soy sauce to the pot, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the fish cakes to heat through.
  6. Stir in the chopped green onions, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot in bowls, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
