- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
- Cucumber - 50 grams, julienned
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for Paleo) - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Press the tofu for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil and sauté the tofu cubes until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, remaining sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the sautéed tofu, julienned carrot, and cucumber to the bowl, mixing gently to coat everything evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped green onion and sesame seeds on top, tossing lightly before serving.
