Ingredients

  • Soft tofu - 200 grams
  • Napa cabbage kimchi - 150 grams
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Green onions - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Begin by slicing the soft tofu into 1 cm thick pieces and set aside.
  2. In a small pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the napa cabbage kimchi to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  4. Add the gochugaru, soy sauce, and season with salt and black pepper to taste, mixing well for another 2 minutes.
  5. In a separate pan, lightly pan-fry the tofu slices in a little sesame oil until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. To serve, place the fried tofu on a plate and top with the spicy kimchi mixture, garnishing with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
