Ingredients

  • Soft tofu - 300 grams
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru) - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Begin by draining the soft tofu and gently patting it dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
  3. In a non-stick skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and gently stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the tofu is heated through and slightly golden.
  6. Sprinkle the Korean red pepper flakes, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper over the tofu, and stir well to coat evenly.
  7. Add the chopped green onions and toss everything together for another minute.
  8. Remove from heat and transfer the Dubu Geotjeori to a serving dish, garnishing with sesame seeds before serving.
