  • Tofu (firm) - 100 grams, cubed
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Spinach - 50 grams, fresh

Steps

  1. In a pot, bring the kosher chicken broth to a boil.
  2. Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the boiling broth.
  3. Lower the heat and add the rice cakes and noodles to the pot, cooking for about 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Stir in the cubed tofu, julienned carrot, and spinach, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
