- Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Green onion (sliced) - 2 stalks
- Carrot (julienned) - 50 grams
- Cabbage (shredded) - 50 grams
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Nori sheets (crushed) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a saucepan, combine vegetable broth, gochujang, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Heat over medium until the sauce is well mixed and begins to simmer.
- Add the tteok, carrot, and cabbage to the saucepan, stirring gently to coat them in the sauce. Let it cook for about 5 minutes, until the tteok is heated through.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds on top for added flavor and crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until the top is slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven, and sprinkle crushed nori sheets on top before serving.
