- Chicken thigh, boneless - 300 grams
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
- Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Cabbage, chopped - 100 grams
- Carrot, julienned - 50 grams
- Zucchini, sliced - 100 grams
- Green onion, chopped - 2 stalks
- Rice cakes (tteok) - 150 grams
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and honey. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat cooking oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add the chopped cabbage, julienned carrot, and sliced zucchini to the pan. Stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the rice cakes to the pan and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the rice cakes to heat through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
