Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder (thinly sliced) - 200 grams
  • Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Green onion (chopped) - 1 stalk
  • Carrot (julienned) - 1/2 medium
  • Cucumber (julienned) - 1/2 medium
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, gochugaru, sugar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced pork to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. While the pork is marinating, prepare the vegetables by julienning the carrot and cucumber, and chopping the green onion.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the marinated pork. Stir-fry for about 10 minutes until the pork is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  5. Once the pork is cooked, add the julienned carrot, cucumber, and chopped green onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
