- Pork belly - 250 grams
- Water - 500 ml
- Coconut aminos - 3 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pot, combine the water, coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Add the pork belly to the pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 30 minutes, check the pork for tenderness and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top before serving.
