- Perilla leaves - 50 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced

- Fish sauce (or coconut aminos for strict Paleo) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Thoroughly wash the dandelion greens and perilla leaves under cold water to remove any dirt and impurities.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the dandelion greens for 1-2 minutes until tender but still vibrant green.
- Remove the greens and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain well and squeeze out excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blanched dandelion greens and perilla leaves.
- Add the minced garlic, sesame oil, fish sauce (or coconut aminos), red pepper flakes, and salt to the greens. Toss gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top and give it one final gentle toss.
- Serve immediately or let it sit for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld before serving.
