Ingredients

  • Loach fish (cleaned) - 200 grams
  • Water - 600 ml
  • Korean radish (mu) - 100 grams, sliced
  • Zucchini - 100 grams, sliced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring 600 ml of water to a boil.
  2. Add the cleaned loach fish and simmer for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Remove the fish and set aside to cool, then gently flake the meat off the bones, discarding the bones.
  4. In the same pot, add sliced Korean radish, zucchini, minced garlic, and gochugaru.
  5. Let the vegetables cook for about 10 minutes until they are tender.
  6. Return the flaked fish to the pot and add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
