Ingredients

  • Chonggak radish - 200 grams
  • Soybean sprouts - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - 1 liter

Steps

  1. Wash the chonggak radish and cut it into thin strips.
  2. Rinse the soybean sprouts under cold water.
  3. In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add a pinch of salt.
  4. Once boiling, add the soybean sprouts and blanch for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Drain the soybean sprouts and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the chonggak radish strips, blanched soybean sprouts, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  7. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and adjust salt to taste.
  9. Serve immediately or let it chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes for enhanced flavor.
