Ingredients

  • Mung bean sprouts - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion - 1, finely chopped

Steps

  1. Rinse the mung bean sprouts under cold water and drain well.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the mung bean sprouts. Blanch for about 2-3 minutes until they are tender but still crunchy.
  3. Drain the blanched mung bean sprouts and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the cooled mung bean sprouts to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onion on top and mix gently.
  7. Serve immediately or let it sit for a few minutes to enhance the flavors.
