Ingredients
- Cooked short-grain rice - 1 cup (200g)
- Fresh cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Radish - 1 small, julienned
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Egg - 1 large, beaten
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Cooked and sliced chicken breast - 100g
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Spinach - 1 cup, blanched
- Seaweed salad - 1/2 cup (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Prepare the short-grain rice according to package instructions and allow it to cool slightly.
- In a skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat and scramble the beaten egg until fully cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken breast with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Julienne the cucumber, carrot, and radish, and chop the green onion.
- In a serving bowl, place the cooked rice as the base.
- Artfully arrange the marinated chicken, scrambled egg, cucumber, carrot, radish, spinach, avocado, and green onion on top of the rice.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top and add seaweed salad if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy Chirashi Bap.
