  • Noodles (Korean wheat noodles) - 200 grams

  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion (sliced) - 2 stalks
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in the gochugaru and cook for an additional 30 seconds, mixing well to combine.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and salt to the chili oil mixture, stirring until well combined.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles and the chili oil mixture, tossing until the noodles are evenly coated.
  7. Serve the noodles in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
