- Korean red chili flakes (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Maple syrup - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the raw peanuts, minced garlic, gochugaru, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and vegetable oil. Mix well until the peanuts are evenly coated.
- Spread the peanut mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the peanuts are golden brown, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
