  • Korean red chili flakes (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the raw peanuts, minced garlic, gochugaru, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and vegetable oil. Mix well until the peanuts are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the peanut mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the peanuts are golden brown, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
