- Edamame (in pods) - 300 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
Steps
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the edamame pods. Cook for 5 minutes until tender and bright green.
- Drain the edamame and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked edamame to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce, chili flakes, and salt. Stir well to coat the edamame evenly.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with black sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
