- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato puree - 100 grams
- Water - 250 milliliters
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Bell pepper (sliced) - 1 medium
- Carrot (sliced) - 1 medium
Steps
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant.
- Add the cleaned crab and sauté for about 5 minutes until it starts to change color.
- In a bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, and tomato puree, then pour this sauce over the crab in the pot.
- Add water and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Stir in the sliced bell pepper and carrot, cover, and let it cook for 10-15 minutes until the crab is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add it to the pot to thicken the sauce. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
