  • Sweet rice flour (glutinous rice flour) - 100 grams
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 30 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Spring onions (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds (toasted) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet rice flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Gradually add the water to the flour mixture while stirring until smooth and well combined.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, mixing until evenly distributed.
  5. Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the mixture, followed by chopped spring onions, and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top for added flavor and texture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
