Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Korean gochujang (red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, chopped green onions, egg, almond flour, salt, and black pepper to the crumbled tofu. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the tofu mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the tofu mixture, ensuring an even coverage.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added crunch.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are slightly golden.
