  • Cheddar cheese - 2 slices
  • Whole wheat burger buns - 2
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Sliced tomato - 1 medium

Steps

  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to allow the cheese to melt.
  5. Toast the whole wheat burger buns in the same skillet until lightly golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cheesy patty, sliced tomato, and finally the top half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Cheesy Kimchi Burgers!
