Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Green onion, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
  • Panko breadcrumbs - 30 grams
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Press the firm tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes.
  3. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  5. Pour the marinade over the tofu cubes and gently toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the marinated tofu to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the tofu, followed by panko breadcrumbs and black sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
