- Tteok (Korean rice cakes) - 200 grams
- Cheddar cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Chicken breast - 150 grams, cooked and shredded
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 300 ml
Steps
- In a pot, combine water, gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the tteok to the pot and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they soften and absorb the sauce.
- Stir in the shredded chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
- Reduce the heat to low and slowly mix in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
