  • Chayote - 1 medium

  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Wash the chayote, peel it, and cut it in half. Remove the seed and slice it thinly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced chayote, julienned carrot, cucumber, red bell pepper, and chopped green onion.
