- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Sesame oil - 15 ml
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Green onions (chopped) - 2 stalks
- Mushrooms (shiitake or enoki) - 100 g
- Zucchini (sliced) - 100 g
- Carrot (julienned) - 100 g
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 15 g
- Rice (cooked) - 1 cup
Steps
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef brisket to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the zucchini and julienning the carrot. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
- Heat a grill pan or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef brisket in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- In the same pan, add the mushrooms, zucchini, and carrot, and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- To serve, place the grilled beef and vegetables on a plate alongside lettuce leaves. Add a dollop of gochujang for spice and serve with cooked rice.
