- 300g beef sirloin - thinly sliced

- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic - minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger - grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 carrot - julienned
- 1 cucumber - julienned
- 4 green onions - chopped
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 head of butter lettuce - leaves separated
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and gochujang to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through.
- Once the beef is cooked, stir in the sesame seeds and remove from heat.
- To assemble the wraps, place a scoop of cooked brown rice on a butter lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked bulgogi, and top with julienned carrots, cucumbers, and chopped green onions.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
