Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into thin slices.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the bulgogi marinade. Add the tofu slices to the marinade and let them soak for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Spread the marinated tofu evenly over the pizza dough, followed by the sliced red bell pepper and mushrooms.
  6. Sprinkle vegan mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables and tofu.
  7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted.
  8. Remove from the oven, and sprinkle chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro on top before slicing and serving.
