Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Honey - 15 grams
  • Sesame oil - 10 ml
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Corn tortillas - 4 small
  • Cabbage - 100 grams, finely shredded
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and half of the chopped green onions to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef marinates, prepare the toppings by shredding the cabbage, julienning the carrot, and chopping the cilantro.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the cooked bulgogi on each tortilla, topped with shredded cabbage, carrot, remaining green onions, and cilantro.
  7. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve with lime wedges for squeezing over the tacos.
