Ingredients

  • 300g beef sirloin - thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger - grated
  • 2 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey - optional
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cucumber - julienned
  • 1 cup carrot - julienned
  • 1/2 red bell pepper - sliced
  • 2 green onions - chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the coconut aminos, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and honey (if using). Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. While the beef is marinating, prepare the salad by mixing the salad greens, cucumber, carrot, red bell pepper, and green onions in a large bowl.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, remove it from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.
  6. Top the prepared salad with the cooked bulgogi beef, drizzle with the dressing, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve immediately.
