- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Cooked rice - 2 cups
- Mixed salad greens - 100 grams
Steps
- Clean the shiitake mushrooms and slice them into thin strips.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped scallions, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are cooked through and slightly caramelized.
- While the mushrooms are cooking, prepare the rice as per package instructions if not already cooked.
- To serve, place a cup of cooked rice on each plate, top with the sautéed bulgogi mushrooms, and garnish with sesame seeds and a side of mixed salad greens.
