- Sweet potatoes - 2 medium (about 400g)
- Ground beef - 300g
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for Paleo) - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (minced) - 1 teaspoon
- Brown sugar (or coconut sugar for Paleo) - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Avocado oil - for frying
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into fries. Toss them in a bowl with avocado oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the sweet potato fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, brown sugar, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for about 5 minutes.
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the marinated beef for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and place them on plates.
- Top the sweet potato fries with the cooked bulgogi beef.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
