- Cooked white rice - 2 cups
- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 2 teaspoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Carrot - 1 small, diced
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Frozen peas - 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the diced carrots and peas, and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the rice is heated through.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix everything together. Add the chopped green onions and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the Bulgogi Fried Rice hot, garnished with sesame seeds and extra green onions if desired.
