- Beef sirloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Rice - 1 cup (uncooked)
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Zucchini - 1 medium, julienned
- Spinach - 100 grams, blanched
- Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 100 grams, sliced
- Eggs - 2 large
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, cook the rice according to package instructions.
- In a pan, heat a little oil over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms until tender. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
- In the same pan, stir-fry the julienned carrots and zucchini until they are tender yet crisp. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
- In a separate pot, blanch the spinach in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pan used for the vegetables, cook the marinated beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a non-stick skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up to your preference.
- To assemble the bibimbap, place a serving of rice in a bowl, and top with the cooked beef, sautéed vegetables, spinach, and a fried egg on top.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving. Mix before eating to enjoy the flavors!
