Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
  • Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Eggs - 2
  • Cooked brown rice - 200 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it's well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper, stirring for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
  5. In a separate pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up or to your preferred doneness.
  6. To serve, place cooked brown rice in a bowl, top with the beef and vegetable mixture, and a fried egg. Sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
