Ingredients
- Spinach - 200 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium (about 70 grams)
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- Wash the spinach thoroughly and blanch it in boiling water for 30 seconds, then drain and cool under cold water.
- Squeeze out excess water from the spinach and chop it coarsely.
- Peel the carrot and julienne it into thin strips.
- Mince the garlic cloves.
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrots to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the chopped spinach to the skillet, followed by soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
