Ingredients

  • Spinach - 200 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium (about 70 grams)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and blanch it in boiling water for 30 seconds, then drain and cool under cold water.
  2. Squeeze out excess water from the spinach and chop it coarsely.
  3. Peel the carrot and julienne it into thin strips.
  4. Mince the garlic cloves.
  5. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  6. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Add the julienned carrots to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  8. Add the chopped spinach to the skillet, followed by soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
  9. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  10. Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
