Ingredients

  • Tofu (firm) - 150 grams, diced
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the diced tofu to the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the kimchi and cook for another 5 minutes, allowing it to heat through and release its flavors.
  5. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar, mixing well to combine.
  6. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  8. Serve hot, either on its own or with steamed rice.
