Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
- Bell pepper - 100 grams, sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Drain the tofu and press it gently to remove excess moisture. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown.
- Stir in the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the tofu and vegetables evenly and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
