Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 100 grams, sliced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Drain the tofu and press it gently to remove excess moisture. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown.
  4. Stir in the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the tofu and vegetables evenly and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
