Ingredients

  • Korean radish - 200 grams, julienned
  • Cucumber - 100 grams, julienned
  • Carrot - 100 grams, julienned
  • Firm tofu - 200 grams, cubed
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Water - 1 liter

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the julienned cucumber, carrot, and Korean radish. Sprinkle with salt and let it sit for 10 minutes to draw out excess moisture.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the dipping sauce.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the cubed tofu. Cook until golden brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Season with pepper and set aside.
  4. After the vegetables have rested, rinse them under cold water and drain well. Toss them in a bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  5. To serve, arrange the seasoned vegetables on a plate alongside the crispy tofu. Serve the dipping sauce in a small bowl for drizzling or dipping.
