Ingredients
- Korean radish - 200 grams, julienned
- Cucumber - 100 grams, julienned
- Carrot - 100 grams, julienned
- Firm tofu - 200 grams, cubed
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Water - 1 liter
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the julienned cucumber, carrot, and Korean radish. Sprinkle with salt and let it sit for 10 minutes to draw out excess moisture.
- In a separate bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the dipping sauce.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the cubed tofu. Cook until golden brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Season with pepper and set aside.
- After the vegetables have rested, rinse them under cold water and drain well. Toss them in a bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- To serve, arrange the seasoned vegetables on a plate alongside the crispy tofu. Serve the dipping sauce in a small bowl for drizzling or dipping.
