Ingredients

  • Sweet potatoes - 2 medium (about 300g each)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon (2g)
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (10g)
  • Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons (10g)
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon (5g)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water.
  3. Pat the sweet potatoes dry with a towel, then pierce them several times with a fork.
  4. Rub the sweet potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle them with sea salt.
  5. Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until tender and easily pierced with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  8. Cut the sweet potatoes in half lengthwise and sprinkle with black sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and gochugaru before serving.
