- Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons, toasted
- Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
- Black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Olive oil - 1 teaspoon (for greasing)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for 1-2 minutes until wilted. Drain and cool under cold water, then squeeze out excess water and chop.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, toasted sesame seeds, chopped green onion, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil and transfer the spinach mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
